Criteria for using USB media
The device supports devices with a power consumption of up to 500 mA via USB. For hard drives with a higher power consumption (usually over 500 GB) you need to use a separate power supply!
It supports FAT or NTFS format devices.
We recommend that you use branded media with both fast write and read speeds for recording and playback.
